Subaru Cooling System Services in Broomfield and Denver, CO

Come in to Subaru Clinic for a cooling system service check!

Getting a regular coolant flush and fill will help to prevent overheating, freezing and premature corrosion of the cooling-system of your vehicle.

WHEN SHOULD I GET MY COOLING SYSTEM SERVICED?

The Cooling System Service is a very important part of maintenance for your vehicle and we recommend replacing your engine coolant every 60,000 miles. Though you may or may not realize it, engine coolant loses integrity after lengthy periods of time. Assuming your engine has the traditional coolant, (you will know it is this kind if it is green), this is our recommendation for cooling services.

WHAT ELSE CAN I EXPECT DURING MY COOLING SYSTEM SERVICE?

When you do bring your car in to replace the coolant, our team will check your entire cooling system to make checks on your entire cooling system. We will check to make sure that your coolant hoses or other components are functioning well, and make sure they are not in need of replacing.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I REPLACE MY COOLANT HOSES?

Generally, we recommend the replacement of coolant hoses every four years, so, assuming you bring your car in to be serviced regularly for oil changes and regular maintenance, you may already be in good shape with these parts by the time you come in for your cooling system service check. (In other words, you will want to be getting your coolant hoses and other components replaced probably before you get to the 60,000 mile mark)

WHY IS MY COOLING SYSTEM SO IMPORTANT?

When the cooling system of your vehicle isn’t functioning properly, the temperature of the engine can get so hot that it can damage itself, and when that happens, the cost can be astronomical. Having your radiator inspected regularly and maintaining your coolant fluid levels can save you a lot of time and money in the long term.
